Doing Nothing

I enjoy not having to do anything, just being there, doing there, having a there moment.  When you don't have to be anywhere, do anything, say anything.  And that happens so little in our society because of time.  The thing that tells you what to do even if you don't care.  You must sleep.  You must wake up.  Always moving, talking, doing.  No stop.  Sometime...

Paper

There is a large portion of society that has to deal with paper more than it should.  Almost everything is paper.  I blame math.  And control freaques.  I spelled that wrong because I want to.  There are things that cannot be done without paper because that is the procedure.  Words words words!  Enough talking.  It's time for the final episode to this little drama.  (In the words of Dwayne Powers)

Geography

Just put the map back up in my room.  Was watching Jeopardy! and decided that I don't know nearly enough geography.  I can usually absorb things by reading them, so I put the map in the hopes that looking at it will help me learn some geographic things.  Here goes trying to learn some stuff by looking at it!
Also starting to read Ender's Shadow again.  You can tell that I'm getting bored.  I keep reading the same things over and over again.  There is a new Card book out isn't there?  I think it came out in the middle of January.  Maybe I could read that.  It is the second book in the new Ender/Bean series. (the one that started with Ender starting the Shakespeare colony)  I think I'll look into it.

People

I have come to the conclusion that people do not know anything.  Everything we think we know is from other people and they base it off of their perceptions.  Everything is based off of perception.  The color blue is a perception.  Senses are perceptions.  Everything we know is a lie.  Where is the truth in life?

Ink problems

So I have a Lexmark printer and recently purchased some ink for it, but the cartridge would not work in my printer.  Apparently there was a problem with the shape of the cartridge that made it incompatible with my printer.  Looked on the internet for some solutions, tried some, didn't work.  Then I went to the Lexmark website for some customer service and when all was said and done, I'm getting a cartridge shipped to me.  Just got the notification today.  I was sort of surprised and very pleased with the treatment I received.  People I am close to like to get very angry at customer service if you know what I mean.  I am not used to a very helpful customer service.  So I was very very surprised with the outcome of my situation.  I was hoping that my cartridge would work.  Oh well.  But thanks for the help!

This week was too long...

Hopefully next week does not feel as long as this one did.  I did not have off the day after New Year's so we went a full five days.  Such a drag!  Don't really have plans for this weekend, so mayhap I can sleep a little.  Found a new game called QWOP.  Apparently this has been out for a while.  But I found it on Monday and now I am getting quite adept at it.  At least when the computer does not suck.  I will put a video of me playing it up sometime.

Like right now!  This was a few days ago.

What I get to thinking about sometimes

Here is the thought process I go through sporadically:
1.  What was here before I got here?  What happens when I get older?  What about after I die?
2.  I only know me.  I feel like everybody else thinks and stuff, but I'm the only one I'm assured of.
(No offense to anybody else, but that's just the way I go through the thoughts sometimes-not that you all don't think or anything, but how am I supposed to KNOW that?)
3.  Why am I here?  Why is everybody else here?
4.  What is really going on?
Then I get started on scenarios.  Has anybody ever heard of sibilism?  Or sybilism?  Or sibylism?  It was mentioned in Orson Scott Card's Lost Boys.  I'm trying to figure out if it is for real or not...

Why I won't

But you can't hear me, you can't hear me...

Ever and ever and ever.  Never sing for you.  Never for you.  Ever.  Because you don't deserve it.

I'm Busy...again

So I'm sorry if I don't get on this as often.  Not that anyone cares.  So I was talking to a friend today.  So I'm confused.  People are confusing.  I think I have someone figured out but I don't.  Maybe what I'm seeing is what I think I want to see instead of what is there.  That's on me.  Obviously.  But maybe the people are lying?  I know I lie to people.  With my face and words sometimes.  I just don't tell them what's really up.  Cause I don't want people to care.  But I do.  I'm confusing as well I suppose.  Again, we're almost all human.

Earthquake!

So there was an earthquake in our area today.  It was weird.  It was the first earthquake I think I've ever felt.  I didn't even know it was an earthquake, I just thought something was acting up downstairs, like the washer or something.  Then someone called and asked if I had felt the earthquake.  So THAT's what it was.  It was really weird, I just sat down and then it felt like the thing I was sitting on was shaking.  It was SO weird.  I got up, wondering if someone was pulling a joke on me, then I sat back down.  Typical American response lolz.  Actually, typical American response is to get some food then sit back down.  Anyway, that's my weird occurance of the day.

Philly sports for the win

Phillies and the Eagles making some good trades and aquisitions.  Hunter Pence, Cromartie, and Asomasjofidasja.  Good stuff.  Really hoping that the Phillies can go all the way this year.  I have a pitcher going right now in MLB the show 2011.  He's the ace pitcher for the Phils.  Who have all of their star pitching plus 2.  One is me, the other Felix Hernandez.  They lost all their field players, thus sucking badly.  Anyway, somehow they made it to the world series, thanks to yours truly, and they lost to the Yankees.  Hope THAT doesn't happen this year.  I think their biggest challenge will be getting out of the NLDS and NLCS.

Where we end up...

...is based on where we start.  I was just thinking the other day.  A daily occurence for me, I assume.  What ends up happening in a life is based slightly upon where they enter the world.  I would probably not be posting this if I were somewhere deep in Africa.  Nor would I think or reason the way I do.  Not that those people that do start there are inferior.  Just that we are different.  And that I would be different if I were where they were.  So I'm not going to get all of the same experiences that they will.   Which could cause me to be lacking in some areas.  I'm kind of resentful of this.  I know it's unreasonable, but that's the way I feel.

Busy Week coming up

The end of an extensive week has finally come.  This week really seemed to be endless.  The inevitable has happened: the perceived unendable week has ended.  Now for exciting things.  Like a soccer game that starts at 9:55...PM.  Now our keeper will have an excuse for the balls that go in the net.  The next morning, going to NYC to see Phantom on Broadway, should be fun.  Next week brings more surprises.  In that I make an example for most human experiences: look back, think about how it could have been better, look ahead, and think about how much better it will be.  And it might!  Or it might not.  The true fun is not knowing what is actually around the corner even though we think we have control over everything.
